The Process West Stage 1 Front Mount Intercooler Kit for the 2022+ VB WRX is the essential cooling upgrade for those looking to handle the demands of the FA24.

This version of the Process West Stage 1 Front Mount Intercooler Kit is intended exclusively for those looking to install the Process West VB FA24 WRX Intake Manifold (Standard & Port Injection), allowing for an easy fitment without the need for an Adaptor Pipe (PWIM010AP).

The reason Process West provides this alternative Kit is due to the new throttle body position of the Process West Intake Manifold, which is lower and closer to the firewall than the factory design. This kit will not be compatible with the factory intake.

If you do plan to install the Intake Manifold at a later date, we recommend our traditional Stage 1 Kit (PWFMIC10B) which is compatible with the factory intake. When you upgrade to the Process West Intake Manifold, our Adaptor Pipe (PWIM010AP) will make your Intercooler kit compatible with the Intake.

This Intercooler Kit delivers superior air intake cooling, directly lowering air intake temperature, improving efficiency, throttle response, and a more consistent performance across the rev range.

This Intercooler offers a generous 525 x 350 x 75mm core with greater internal fin density than the factory core, met with hi-flowing cast intercooler end tanks designed for maximum flow distribution.

Precision Piping - The lightweight CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intercooler piping ensures smooth, unrestricted airflow and a perfect fit with the PW Intake Manifold.

Keep The Crash Bar! This Intercooler's unique design places the core deeper into the engine bay, allowing for the retention of the factory crash bar.

Bolt-on Installation - Absolutely NO cutting or permanent modification to the front bumper is necessary for installation. All necessary brackets, silicone couplers, and stainless steele hose clamps are included.

Ground-Up Performance Engineering.

Our designs all follow a similar path. We remove the stock cooler and 3D scan the engine bay to determine the precise constraints of the available space. Once we know what we’re working with, we generate functional renders and finalise form, function, and fitment.

Following our digital models, we generate 3D printed prototypes for further, real-world confirmation of size, fitment, and installation ease. When our prototype is perfect, it's on to manufacturing.
